Service Description
Antenatal & Postnatal Clinic runs on Mondays from 13:00 - 15:00 at The Round Clinic, Wong Chuk Hang. Consults are 30min ($700) with either Vicki Marks (UK & HK registered midwife) or Dr. Michelle Ng (Postpartum doula and Lactation Counsellor). Clinic dates: Vicki: 9th & 30th October, 20th & 27th November (Antenatal & Postnatal consultations) Michelle: 16th October, 6th & 13th November (Postnatal & lactation consultations) During these consultations we can provide personalised support and education to help you navigate your antenatal & postpartum journey and provide continuity of care during pregnancy and after delivery. Our certified Postpartum Doula & Lactation Counsellor and UK & HK registered Midwife can offer advice on all aspects of antenatal care & postnatal recovery, mental well-being, newborn care, breastfeeding, bottle feeding and weaning, as well as guidance on returning to work after maternity leave. We also monitor and assess your baby's weight, giving you peace of mind and reassurance. The Midwife-led appointments may include: - For pregnant clients: a urine test, blood pressure check, an examination to check the baby's position and growth, a discussion of the birth plan - Newborn physical examination, checking for signs of: jaundice, umbilical cord or eye infections. - Postnatal physical checks for the mother. A lactation appointment with either the midwife or lactation counsellor may be needed if: - You had challenges with breastfeeding before and would like to learn how to avoid them with your next baby - You are experiencing pain with breastfeeding - Your baby is struggling to latch, choking, spluttering or crying at the breast - You're concerned about baby's weight gain - You'd like to pump but not sure where to begin - You've been encountering continual challenges and you've not found a solution - You are struggling with bottle feeding You can also ask questions or talk about anything that's worrying you. We understand that every new parent's journey is unique, and we're here to help make the transition into parenthood as smooth as possible! Cancellation policy
Courses are non-refundable from two weeks before the start date of that course. Packages are non-refundable once the package has been started. Packages of five are valid for six months from the first consultation; packages of three valid for three months from the first consultation. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to postpone or cancel home consultations or clinic appointments.
