Service Description

Struggling to understand what is "normal" with your newborn's sleep and feeding patterns? Join Gemma, a seasoned Infant and Adult Sleep Specialist, and Dr. Michelle Ng, postpartum doula and breastfeeding counsellor, in an engaging workshop designed to demystify infant sleep and feeding. Sleep - Learn more about how sleep should look in the early days and how to shape good quality sleep with age appropriate advice. We will discuss sleep science and the importance of responding to your baby in order to maintain a good attachment. Gemma will detail how sleep changes and sleep cycles mature as your baby grows (ie 4 month regression, dropping naps etc) and will offer guidance on additional troubleshooting such as putting siblings in the same bedroom, dropping the dummy, dropping night feeds. Feeding - learn what we expect in the early weeks and months, what are red flags, how to juggle breastfeeding and bottle feeding, when to pump, how their feeding might change with developmental milestones and how this all fits around your newborn's sleep. Where: Yoga Journey HK - Sheung Wan When: Thursday 20th June 10- 11.30am Open to mums 0- 3 months postpartum. Bring your baby! The workshop will be followed by Q&A and refreshments. We require a minimum of 3 mums for the workshop to run.
