Service Description
Pricing is on a per-family basis with a maximum class size of 8 families. Consecutive Tuesdays: May 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, 10am-12nn. Everyone has heard ‘it takes a village’. Where does the village come from? How do you find them? What does the village look like?! The fourth trimester gets little consideration but warrants all of the attention. At The Family Zone, the physical, mental and emotional health of mothers during this integral time is now even more of a focus - and we’re proud to announce the birth of Hong Kong’s first Postpartum Course. Think of it like the next stage of your antenatal class, but with the company of your newborn. We’re here to create ‘the village’ with mums (and dads!) in your area and with babies of similar stages (or leaps and growth spurts!) and experts covering birth recovery, sleep advice, feeding, movement, relaxation and baby massage. Week 1: Breathe; an introduction to the course and other mothers and babies. A space for worries and "what is normal" plus a birth debrief with Michelle and Vicki. Week 2: Movement and Music with Claudia and Ishka, covering gentle relaxation and bonding exercises with you and your baby. Week 3: Feeding and Sleeping with Kierstin and Gemma, providing reassurance and tools for tackling your feeding and sleeping challenges. Week 4: The Wrap Up with Claire and Michelle, an introduction to baby massage and a space to discuss the Fourth Trimester and beyond. This four week course is a 90 minute meet up - with time for questions, chats and tummy time each week after. Partners are very welcome if they are able to join!

Cancellation policy
Courses are non-refundable from two weeks before the start date of that course. Packages are non-refundable once the package has been started. Packages are valid for three months from the first consultation. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to postpone or cancel home consultations.
